This beautiful crossbody bag was created from a gorgeous Louis Vuitton Danube. This is a great sized bag, coming in at about H8.25 x W6 x D1.5”!!
The bag is in good shape, with only minor cracking in the canvas at the top (see pictures). The bag has been thoroughly cleaned. The vachetta had a lot of staining, so I've dyed it all black and conditioned it. It really stands out now! The zipper works great. The strap holders were torn off, so I've added chunky gold D-rings to the sides to hold the new crossbody strap, making this a very unique Danube. The strap is canvas and is very "LV-like" and can be adjusted from 30-51". So comfortable!
It has a large front pocket that is 7.5" deep and is perfect for carrying a phone. The interior is very roomy, and there's also a pocket on the inside. This is an older bag, with a date code of 881 SL, which indicated it was produced in France in January 1988! She still has life left!!!
